CLR Law was founded in Yorkshire in 2010 by Claire Rolston where she had practised as an employment law solicitor since 2003. With a desire to move “back home”, Claire relocated the business to Gateshead in 2012 and successfully continues to look after her Yorkshire clients as well as expand her client base into the North East. Our clients also extend across England and Wales due to the work we do with the Society of Local Council Clerks and its members.
CLR Law is a niche law firm specialising in employment law and HR. In fact, it’s all we do. So when clients appoint us, they know they are getting the very best specialist advice available. If clients need legal support in other areas of law, we work with a network of trusted colleagues who can assist.
Our team is small but niche, which allows us to be innovative and flexible with the solutions we offer to our clients. Our combined experience and passion for employment law makes us a great choice for anyone looking for results.
In addition to our day to day work, we donate our services for free to the LawWorks Durham University Pro Bono Society project, where we deliver weekly sessions via Skype to clients at the Chester-le-Street Citizens’ Advice Bureau. We also undertake fundraising activities for NELST – North East Legal Support Trust – which aims to improve access to justice for the most vulnerable in society, and the Newcastle Law Centre.
Claire and Anna are both active members of the Employment Lawyers Association.
