Introducing the “What can I do?” series of workshops!

“What can I do…my employee is off sick?”

We have organised a series of events with a difference. We discuss the questions that you need answering about managing day to day issues in the workplace.

We invite you to join us at our first workshop to talk about all things “Attendance” and what you can (and can’t) do in certain circumstances.

The businesses we work with often call us and ask questions such as:

  • What can I do with this employee who regularly calls in sick? Can I dismiss them?
  • What can I do with our employee who has been absent from work for over 4 months?
  • What do I do next? An employee has just had an occupational therapy review following an accident at work.

The presenters are:

Claire Rolston, CLR Law – Employment Law solicitor

Debbie Kirkbride, DjK Occupational Health – Occupational health specialist

We have joined together to present real case studies on what the process is and who should be involved when considering how to handle these tricky situations. As we have “real life” experience of working together, we can explain the practical support, the legal advice and the Occupational health involvement that is required to manage these matters effectively and with as little risk as possible.

We will give you the opportunity to ask the experts and present a couple of real life examples to work on yourselves.
